Manga/ Anime Workshop – Dragon Ball Z Characters come to life!

This is a special community school for boys aged 11-16. All the students have a statement of special educational needs for social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. The vast majority also have further special educational needs and/or disabilities and a variety of medical issues. This means that the school can be a challenging place.

We helped planning and delivering part of their first Literacy parent & student day, where parents were invited to attend the school and participate in a series of activities together with theirs sons. We organised 3 workshops using Drama to explore Literacy related to three subjects: Football, Manga/ Anime and Pop Culture (Fashion, Graffiti, Hip Hop, Rap).

“We would like to thank you very much for helping us organise and deliver what was a truly memorable day for our students and their families. The feedback has been excellent and the students were buzzing. We do hope that you enjoyed yourselves as well and that you took away some exciting experiences.” Deborah Lipkin
