Pitzhanger Manor and Park, Ealing.

WALPOLE PARK: A Heritage project developed specifically to give the local history of Pitzhanger House and gardens in Ealing. We developed a story centered round a maid servant character who wanders through a time portal into present times and points out the changes she observes as she takes the audience round the park and house with her.

This project was conceived to gain the public’s interest in their local community and to give them a chance to have an informed voice on what should happen to the future of the park.

Follow on workshops engaged groups in working on regency period dramas and then on expressing their feelings about updating the park activities.

The project involved people from local schools, WI members, park users and other interested local societies and groups.
